Operation Make Skirts

I have recently taken my sewing to a new level....making my own clothes!  My friend, Crystal, and I have been marking out time in our schedules to have "sewing days."  And the last couple of times we have got together, I have made my first skirts. 

The first one I made was this... (It even has pockets in the side, and a zipper in the back!)

The second I made was this.... (Although the picture doesn't look as good, it is much cuter than the first!)

If only it would get sunny enough to wear them now... :)  Bring on summer!
